Terms and Conditions

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights for artwork, images, materials, and Website content belong to Nathan Cossar. Purchasing a product does not grant ownership of or license to copyrighted material. Customers are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or publishing any images or content from the Website, even if they have purchased a product.

Choosing Art

Please choose carefully before placing your order. Nathan Cossar cannot offer refunds for changes of mind or incorrect selection. However, exchanges may be permitted at Nathan Cossar’s sole discretion. Refunds or replacements cannot be provided for goods damaged due to misuse, including failure to exercise reasonable care.

Prices

All transactions are processed in New Zealand (NZD) and include a 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. Prices displayed on the Website may change without notice, including promotional offers, discounts, or revised pricing. The valid price is that which is published on the Website at the time of purchase and may differ from prices advertised elsewhere.

In cases where a product is listed at an incorrect price or with inaccurate information due to typographical errors or other reasons, Nathan Cossar reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders placed at the incorrect price—even if the order has been confirmed or payment received (in full or partial).

Nathan Cossar also reserves the right to vary pricing, including offering wholesale rates at their sole discretion. Any wholesale offer will be confirmed in writing via email.

Product Appearance

While every effort is made to display products accurately on the Website, Nathan Cossar does not guarantee that descriptions, images, or displayed colours are precise. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings, and variations in paper stock may result in imperfections.

Framing

Framing services are offered through affiliated third-party providers. While Nathan Cossar strives to ensure high-quality framing services, Nathan Cossar does not guarantee or take responsibility for the quality of products or services delivered by these third parties.

Orders

Receiving an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order or confirmation of Nathan Cossar’s offer to sell. Nathan Cossar reserves the right to accept, decline, or limit any order at any point, whether payment has been received or not. Refunds will be issued in cases where orders are declined or limited.

Once submitted, any request for order changes must be sent in writing to hello@nathancossar.co.nz. Changes cannot be guaranteed and are subject to Nathan Cossar’s discretion. Any agreed changes or cancellations may incur additional costs, which will be communicated upfront.

By placing an order, you confirm:

You are over 18 years of age.

All details you provide are accurate, and you are authorised to use the payment method and ensure sufficient funds for the purchase.

You understand foreign exchange rates may fluctuate, impacting final charges.

A confirmation email will be sent upon receiving your order. Once fulfilled, a second email will confirm dispatch.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of order. Payments are processed via Stripe, which is a third party payment service. Customers are responsible for reviewing these platforms’ terms and conditions. Nathan Cossar is not liable for payment processing errors or issues and accepts no responsibility for unauthorised or fraudulent use of payment methods.

Shipping

Orders will be dispatched within 8-10 business days of order placement. As shipping relies on external logistics companies, delivery times cannot be guaranteed. If your order doesn’t arrive in a reasonable timeframe, please get in touch with us. Nathan Cossar is not liable for delays, losses, or expenses arising from late deliveries or international customs clearance processes.

Refunds and Exchanages

If your order arrives faulty or damaged, notify Nathan Cossar in writing within 24 hours of delivery. Faulty items must be returned within 7 days for New Zealand customers or 14 days for international customers. Failure to notify within the timeframe constitutes acceptance of the item as free from damage.

Returned items will undergo inspection prior to approval for refund or exchange. Refunds will not be granted for defects that can reasonably be rectified.

Eligibility requirements:

1. Notify Nathan Cossar of the issue via email at hello@nathancossar.co.nz within 24 hours of receiving your delivery.

2. Return the product in its original condition, including any certificates and documentation.

3. Include the original invoice identifying the order.

Linking to Website

Links to the Website are permitted only if they are fair, legal, and do not harm Nathan Cossar’s reputation or imply unauthorised association, approval, or endorsement.

Liability and Indemnity

Nathan Cossar is not liable for losses, costs, damages, or expenses arising from Website use, late deliveries, or product misuse. The Website’s availability may occasionally be disrupted due to technical issues beyond Nathan Cossar’s control.

You agree to indemnify Nathan Cossar against claims arising from:

Misuse of products.

Breach of these Terms.

Infringement of laws or third-party rights.

Privacy Notice

Nathan Cossar collects and uses personal information in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws. Your personal details will never be sold to third parties.
